Born in Wilmington, North Carolina, Barton is currently enrolled at North Carolina State University in Architecture with concentrated studies in Economics and Entrepreneurship. Although only in his Junior year, he has already adopted an entrepreneurial mindset with a small clothing start-up called Lumina. He has been an avid supporter of the Krispy Kreme Challenge during his career at NC State and has helped grow it the past two years as a Co-Chair for the event. In his spare time, Barton enjoys an active lifestyle, including running, biking, and swimming. With roots tieing back to the coast, there is also a deep love of surfing, boating, and a variety of water sports.
